Android Basics: How to change the battery icon on the OnePlus 3 and 3T

People love their OnePlus devices in large part because of the amount of customization they can accomplish without having to root or modify their handset. One of these small system tweaks is being able to choose from four different battery icons right out of the box…

By simply heading into your OnePlus 3 or 3T’s battery settings you can switch between the standard battery bar, battery circle, battery percent, or even a hidden battery.

How to change your battery icon:

  1. Go to the Settings menu
  2. Scroll down to the Battery option under the Device heading
  3. Tap on the battery icon found in the menu bar in the top right-hand side of the screen
  4. Select one of the following options: Battery bar, Battery circle, Battery percent, or Battery hidden
