Smartphone manufacturers — and, in some cases, even the cellular carriers that sell their phones — have started doing unboxings in recent years, and this latest one comes from OnePlus. In this unboxing — which, in reality, is mostly just an ad — the Chinese company sends someone up in a fighter jet to unbox the phone hundreds of feet above the ground…
The OnePlus 3T is a step forward from the OnePlus 3, but it’s probably not a good buy if you already own that phone. As one of our picks for best Android phones this month, however, the phone is worth considering if you’re coming from something older. The 3T has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 821 SoC, 6GB of RAM, a 3,400 mAh battery with Dash Charge, and a pair of 16MP cameras on both the front and rear.
The phone went official just a couple weeks ago, and just went up for purchase on November 22nd priced at $439.
We’re going to have our hands on the OnePlus 3T starting tomorrow, so keep an eye out for our full review scheduled to hit sometime in the next week or so.
