Up to today, Nest — a fellow subsidiary of Google’s parent company, Alphabet — has only made its products available in 7 countries. Now the company has announced that its products will soon be available in four new European countries: Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain…
This brings the total number of countries where Nest products are available to 11, and marks full compatibility with two completely new languages: Italian and German. Nest products have already provided the option for Spanish, but it’s likely that the version available in Spain will be localized.
If you’re wondering about pricing in these new locales, the Nest Thermostat will retail for €249, the Nest Protect will go for €119, the Nest Cam Indoor will cost €199, and the Nest Cam Outdoor will sell for €199. All of these prices are said to include VAT.
You can pre-order all four of these products today from a variety of retailers in these countries, and you can head to Nest’s localized websites for all the details. Nest says it’s also working with a variety of partners in these countries, including Baxi, Engie Italy, and Wind Tre, to “create compelling offers” to shared customers.
