Latest Google Calculator update introduces calculation history

When it comes to calculator applications, they’re almost all more or less the same. They can add, subtract, and possibly even get fancy and work out some logarithmic equations. The latest version of Google’s Calculator app is adding a long-awaited feature, though, and that’s calculation history…

Once you update the app, you can find the history panel by tapping on the menu icon in the upper right side of the screen and then selecting “History”. This will show a list of every calculation that you have inputted into the app. You can also jump directly into the History panel by dragging down anywhere within the white calculation field. Please note, however, that history will only begin to populate after you have updated to version 7.2.

If for whatever reason you want to delete your calculation history, you can do so by going into the History panel. From here, tap on the menu button in the upper right side of the display again and select Clear. A pop-up will confirm that you want to clear the history and memory. Tap on Clear and you will be taken back to the Calculator’s main interface.

If the update hasn’t shown up for you yet in the Google Play Store, you can download the APK at APKMirror and sideload it manually.
