Samsung is apparently set to launch its “Special Edition” Galaxy Z Fold 6 as soon as next week, new reports claim.
A thinner Galaxy Z Fold 6 has been in the rumor mill for a while, but the “Special Edition” device hasn’t actually come to launch yet. It was previously thought that the device could arrive in late September, but the rumored release date came and went without any news.
Now, Financial News, a Korean publication, reports that Samsung is set to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 “Special Edition” on October 25. The report reiterates the thinner, 10.6mm profile of the device, as well as the larger 6.5-inch and 8-inch displays.
Last month, a leaked image of the device showed off a new camera module design and a “brushed” effect on the back. Evan Blass also recently shared two images of the device, showing a gold accent on the frame.
This “Special Edition” release isn’t expected to be available outside of China for the most part.
