Google Play Points perk gives you up to 12 months of free Disney+ and Hulu

The latest Google Play Points perk is 6-12 months of Disney+ Basic (With Ads) and/or Hulu (With Ads) depending on your tier.

Play Points members in the United States, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Japan, and Taiwan can get Disney+, which is otherwise $9.99 per month, for free. Officially, this is “available to new subscribers on Google Play.” It will appear in the Perks tab (as a “special offer for you”), so you don’t have to redeem any Play Points for it.

Plans differ by market. US: Disney+ Basic (With Ads), DE/IT/ES/UK: Disney+ Standard With Ads, JP/TW: Disney+ Standard

Meanwhile, those in the US can also get Hulu, which is normally $9.99/month (or $99.99/year).

  • “Disney+ is the streaming home of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic, with thousands of award-winning classics and originals.”
  • “Discover hit TV series and films, along with award-winning Hulu Originals – from dramas like FX’s “Shōgun” to animated favorites like “Futurama” and reality hits like “The Kardashians,” your next entertainment is just a click away.”

This Google Play Points perk for Disney+/Hulu is rolling out starting today “while supplies last”:

  • Gold members get six months of Disney+ Basic (With Ads) and/or six months of Hulu (With Ads)
  • Platinum members get nine months of Disney+ Basic (With Ads) and/or nine months of Hulu (With Ads)
  • Diamond members get a full year of Disney+ Basic (With Ads) and/or a full year of Hulu (With Ads)
