For the Pixel 9 series, Google introduced a “Swirling petals” collection, and a subset of those wallpapers are now available for the Pixel Tablet.
These are slightly different from the 24 available on the Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold. Introduced recently, they are still “A swirling display of abstract florals.”
On the Pixel Tablet, you have:
- Cherry Blossoms: Pink
- Daffodil: Gold
- Lilac: Purple
- Water Lilies: Green
They somewhat coincide with the Pixel Tablet colors — Rose, Porcelain, Black*, and Hazel — if Google released the dark model that was spotted. That’s unlikely to happen now.
At 3088 x 2130, they work nicely as desktop backgrounds. Compared to a few years ago, new Pixel wallpapers only come with device launches.
This is not the first time Google has given new wallpapers to the Pixel Tablet that belong to a different generation of devices. The Pixel Fold and Tablet last year got “Minerals” from the Pixel 8 series.
