Motorola Razr (2026) prices leak from $799 with big price hikes, Fold at $1,899

Motorola’s new Razr lineup is likely debuting very soon and, in a new report, we’re getting US prices on the Motorola Razr (2026) series as well as the Razr Fold, with a lot of price hikes in tow.

Dealabs reports that Motorola Razr (2026) will be seeing some considerable US price hikes. The alleged prices are as follows:

Motorola razr 2026 (8/256 GB): $799.99
Motorola razr+ 2026 (12/256 GB): $1099.99
Motorola razr ultra 2026 (16/512 GB): $1,499.99
Motorola razr fold 2026 (16/512 GB): $1899.99

That’s $100 up on both the base Razr and the Razr+, while Razr Ultra is going up by $200, the latter being pretty wild given the new device is essentially a design refresh on top of last year’s same specs. The report brings out a few Razr and Razr+ upgrades, with the base model, Razr (2026), getting a newer MediaTek Dimensity 7450X, bigger 4,800 mAh battery, and a new 50MP ultrawide camera. Razr+ (2026) gets a much bigger 4,500 mAh battery, up from 4,000 mAh, but is unchanged otherwise with the same Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip found in the 2024 model.

The obvious answer to why prices are going up comes down to the ongoing RAM/storage crisis, with component costs continually skyrocketing. Prices have gone up elsewhere in Motorola’s lineup, as well as for its parent company, Lenovo.

Motorola Razr (2026) is expected to launch in the US on May 21, the report brings out.

Meanwhile, the other notable tidbit here is that Motorola Razr Fold will be launching for $1,899 in the US. There’s no mention of a release date, but international offers suggest that’s coming very soon. Motorola is undercutting Samsung here by $100, and lands just $100 more than Google’s Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
