Galaxy Watch 9 and Ultra 2 leaks reveal more changes, no Classic after all [Gallery]

Ahead of Samsung’s July event, new leaks are revealing a few more details about Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.

Galaxy Techie on Twitter/X posted new details and some software-sourced renders of Samsung’s new wearables, revealing some new tidbits.

That starts with new colors. Either Galaxy Watch 9 or Ultra 2 – or both – will come in black, silver, and beige color variants. The leaker also claims that, contrary to past leaks, there will not be a Classic this year. That’s more in line with Samsung’s typical pattern, but it’s always a shame to miss out on a new smartwatch with a rotating bezel.

Other changes for Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 include a “boxier” design, thinner bezels, and the side button would ditch an all-orange design for one with just an orange outline.

On the software side, leaked renders showcase the Samsung Health redesign, what looks like a new watchface picker, and the Ultra 2’s updated button design on a compass app or face.
