Samsung has dropped a new Galaxy Z Fold 8 teaser, offering a quick glimpse of the wider new form factor with the help of everyone’s favorite public menace.
While there are plenty of brands that will happily drop full renders of their new products to tease the launch, Samsung is generally much more reserved. The first Galaxy Z Fold 8 teasers largely hint at the new wider form factor through a variety of different real-world objects that are cut down to size.
But this latest one is a little different.
Posted to Twitter/X and other platforms, Samsung shared a Galaxy Z Fold 8 teaser that shows the actual foldable, or at least a sliver of it. We can see the wide Fold’s two rear cameras, it’s thin design, and some adjusted button placements. Where Galaxy Z Fold 7 had all of its buttons roughly halfway down the frame, the Fold 8’s new shape pushes those up to the top corner.
The teaser continues Samsung’s partnership with Spider-Man: Brand New Day, with the new Marvel film set to include a whole bunch of Samsung product placement including foldables and Peter Parker using a Galaxy Z Flip irresponsibly.

Of course, it’s not like this comes as a surprise. Recent leaks have fully shown off Samsung’s new foldables from every angle, but it’s still nice to see something official.
Samsung will unveil Galaxy Z Fold 8 on July 22.
