Google surprised us all yesterday with an official confirmation of the Pixel 10a ahead of its February 18th preorder date, but beyond a couple of images, we don’t have much actual information to work off. Luckily, it’s a Pixel phone, which means all four of Google’s new colorways have already leaked in fresh renders.
Today’s images come courtesy of Android Headlines, who shared official-looking images of the Pixel 10a in four shades. In addition to the Lavender shade Google showed off yesterday — which, yes, it is apparently Lavender and not Indigo, despite looking like a mixture of those respective Pixel 9a and Pixel 10 colors — we’re getting new looks at Obsidian (black), Fog (off-white), and Berry (a beautiful shade of red that appears to match the Nest Cam’s current marquee color.

Berry’s bound to get plenty of the attention, but I’m quite partial to Fog myself. These images almost call back to the Pixel 8’s Mint shade, a mid-cycle refresh that brought a subtle greenish hue to the lineup. I’d be curious to see how these two colors actually appear in person next to each other, but in these renders (and on my monitor), Fog looks closer — definitely not identical, but closer — to Google’s unsaturated Mint color than any of the Porcelain Pixels launched over the past few generations.
Of course, we’ve seen both these Berry and Fog shades appear in leaks for other Google products, too — namely, an upcoming refresh of last year’s Pixel Buds 2a. While we didn’t get a tease for new earbud colors yesterday, it seems pretty likely that Google will launch these right alongside its latest A-series phone.

Unfortunately, these colors might spoil one of the few things new on the Pixel 10a compared to its predecessor, as practically every spec leak has pointed to an effectively unchanged product. And considering the Pixel 9a remains on sale for just $399, if none of these colors are speaking to you, it might be time to grab last year’s device at a cheaper price before it disappears.
