Google’s new Fitbit Air tracker is here and comes in a variety of different styles, but the best option might just be the special Stephen Curry edition.
NBA player Stephen Curry works with Google as a Performance Advisor with the Fitbit brand, and the first big product launch he’s involved with is the new Fitbit Air. Google’s screen-less fitness tracker has just a small pebble for its internals, all wrapped up in a band of your choosing. There are a ton of colors to choose from, but the best might just be the one with Curry’s name attached.
Unlike the standard Performance Loop, the Stephen Curry Special Edition Fitbit Air has a fabric band that has a raised interior liner that increases airflow and, with its water-resistant design, should also dry more quickly.
Google says:
We teamed up with 4-time NBA champion Stephen Curry to design our Google Fitbit Air Special Edition. It blends peak performance with elevated style to inspire unmatched confidence in every arena. With a water resistant design, raised interior print for increased airflow, and signature Stephen Curry design details, this band transitions smoothly from your toughest workout to your most stylish event.
In terms of style, too, the orange/grey colorway is unique in Google’s lineup, with the other colors being a bit more static. It also features a Stephen Curry wordmark and “#LockIn” on the inside.
Whether you’re a basketball fan or not, this is the version to look at if you’re planning to bring the Fitbit Air through intense workouts.
Fitbit Air is available starting today for $99, with the Stephen Curry edition costing $129.
