Full Pixel Watch 5 specs have leaked today and reveal that Google made a trio of key hardware changes over the previous generation.
Last month, the Google Play Console listed the Pixel Watch 5 as using the Qualcomm SW5100 with the same CPU and GPU:
- CPU: 4x ARM Cortex-A53 (1700 MHz)
- GPU: Qualcomm Adreno 702 (1000 MHz)
According to specifications published by Dealabs today, the Pixel Watch 5 will use the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 Accelerated. That would be a new chip from Qualcomm that has yet to be announced. “Accelerated” seems like it would be a reference to speed.
Meanwhile, this leak confirms the 3 GB of RAM from 2 GB today, while storage is doubled to 64 GB.

I'm mostly curious as to the increase of storage to 64 gigs. I'm not saying that people don't use onboard storage for their watch for workouts and stuff, but 64 gigs seems like overkill.
That said, if things are mostly the same aside from the extra gig of RAM, which will likely just benefit for the Gemini intelligence stuff. I'm currently on my pixel watch 3 45mm, might keep it one more year, hope for a bigger bump in the pw6
The batteries see a very small increase to 332 mAh (from 325 mAh) on the 41mm Pixel Watch 5, while it’s 465 mAh (from 455 mAh) on the 45mm model. That bump does not result in any changes to the quoted battery life of 30 hours with AOD on the smaller variant and 40 hours on the larger size.
The other new Pixel Watch 5 specification is a “2nd generation sport bracelet made of hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber (HNBR)” (translation). That presumably is in reference to the Active Band, which currently uses fluoroelastomer.
Finally, it will run “Wear OS 7.0 with Gemini Intelligence.”
Specifications that aren’t changing include the Actua 360 Display at 3,000 nits of peak brightness, Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, UWB, and 5 ATM + IP68 water/dust resistance.
