Whether you’re trying to recover from some type of Thanksgiving food coma or you need a steady stream of entertainment to keep you sane while camping out in front of your favorite department store for Black Friday deals — don’t worry, Google has the medicine. The search giant is currently advertising a group of Cyber Week deals for movies, games, music and more. Some of these deals are already live and ready to be consumed and we’d like to take a minute to point out a few standout promotions.
Right now, Google Play has a big list of movies on sale for under $10. The flicks range from slightly old to slightly new and prices start from $9.99 to as low as $2.99. This is a good opportunity to revisit classics that you’ve been meaning to add to your collection or catch up on a few newer films before they make it to cable.
In addition to a list of over 50 low-priced movies, Google Play is dropping the price on a large number of its games. Some titles are being reduced by as much as 50 percent. If that’s not enough, the Play Store also has savings on several of its apps and digital books.
Lastly, if you’re too full or too tired to focus on storylines from movies, games or books, Mountain View is also serving up music on the cheap with full albums starting off as low as $2.99. Some of these items are currently available to purchase now and most of them will be discounted through Monday, December 1st, so be sure to take advantage before you’re too stuffed or deliriously sleepy to cash in.
