According to reports out of Korea, Samsung is expecting the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 to outsell their predecessors by a healthy margin, while the company is acknowledging that a fraction of users might actually be interested in the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.

Samsung has been making big promises around the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s improved durability, but perhaps one of the biggest upgrades comes in the display which, according to Samsung, is now rated for 500,000 folds.

The Galaxy Unpacked event ended with Samsung launching several new devices, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Galaxy Watch 8 series. Users are now reporting that their orders are shipping as we get closer to the end of the pre-order period.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is off to a great start, but naturally, Samsung’s already considering its options for its 2026 model — and not every fan’s going to love what they’re hearing.

After a full reveal earlier this month, it’s launch week for Samsung’s upcoming lineup of foldables, and at least in the company’s home country, it seems like that bold, refreshed Galaxy Z Fold 7 design is paying off.
