Yesterday, Google released the factory image of Android 4.4.3 for a fleet of Nexus devices. This was all good and well, but not everyone was comfortable with the idea of manually flashing a device. Thankfully, the folks from Mountain View didn’t leave people waiting too long and as of this very moment, Google is in the process of pushing out an over-the-air update of Android 4.4.3 for last year’s Nexus 7.

Weighing in at 74MB, the current build hitting Google’s affordable tablet is KTU84L, so if you received an update but have your doubts, check your device’s information via its settings tab. We’re expecting more devices to follow suit soon, so if you’re sporting a Nexus smartphone or tablet, let us know if you’ve received any download notifications.

  1. It is ridiculous that nexus devices that were sold with the claim that they will be first to receive updates are still not receiving OTA updates

  2. I have a Nexus 5 that was purchased from the play store but no update yet.

  3. 4.4.4? seriously? Do you guys even have an editor read over your articles? On another note, do you have a changelog of specific improvements that 4.4.3 is bringing?
