Purported ZTE Nubia Z7 photos reveal a lean, mean metal machine

ZTE is reportedly planning to announce its next flagship smartphone later this week, but the Chinese manufacturer’s new device may have already broken cover. A set of alleged photos of the ZTE Nubia Z7 recently surfaced on the Asian microblogging Sina Weibo, along with information about the handset’s pricing and hardware.

The Nubia Z7 is rumored to feature a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Snapdragon 801 or 805 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage space, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter. All of these goodies are said to be wrapped up in a lean 8.5mm metallic chassis. If these photos and specs have piqued your interest, hopefully the phone’s rumored $560 price tag won’t scare you away.

Although ZTE doesn’t have a huge presence outside of China, the company has released a few device’s outside of its homeland, so there’s a small chance that different variants of the Nubia Z7 could be available in other markets.
