Dodocase announces two new $25 Google Cardboard VR viewers

Dodocase has long been a supporter of Google’s Cardboard initiative, and at I/O this morning a variety of new features were announced concerning the VR platform. Dodocase has now revealed two new virtual reality viewer designs this evening following Google’s announcements earlier. Dodocase is now offering the G2 Viewer and the P2 Viewer for $24.95 each.

The G2 Viewer is modeled after Google’s own new viewer and supports both Android and iOS devices up to 6-inches in screen size. The G2 Viewer has 37mm Bi-Convex lenses which offer a wide field of view. This viewer is also designed with durability and travel in mind, as evident by its corrugated material and Flip-n-Close side shields.

Next, the P2 Viewer is an improved version of Dodocase’s classic pop-up viewer and features the same 37mm Bi-Convex lenses as the G2 Viewer. The P2 model offers deeper side shields which make for better immersion. It also works with all Android and iOS devices and is made from corrugated material.

Both of Dodocase’s VR viewers are available on its website now for $24.95. The Google Cardboard VR viewer app was updated this morning with support for bigger phones and iOS devices.
