Last week, Nvidia’s website accidentally stated that the 2015 Nvidia Shield TV would be receiving Nougat, but the release notes were quickly pulled from the website. The update currently rolling out to users includes everything that we originally reported when the release notes were accidentally released. This includes the addition of the Amazon Video application as well as the NFL app, the new Twitter for TV app, Comedy Central, Vimeo, Viki, and a handful of games.
As for Nvidia specific updates, the 2015 Shield TV will receive a new GameStream feature which allows you to stream local games from your PC in 4K, a GeForce Now performance update, and a new Nvidia Games application.
