Samsung’s 12.2-inch tablet seemingly confirmed, rumored for October launch

Not content with offering the world’s largest smartphone, The Korea Economic Daily (via BGR) seemingly confirms the rumor we reported last month that Samsung is now planning to launch a 12.2-inch tablet in October, possibly alongside the Galaxy Gear smartwatch … 

The report says that it will have a ‘higher than HD’ resolution, which has previously been rumored to be a massive 2560×1600 pixels. While it’s still possible that it’s a Windows tablet, the general expectation appears to be that it will be an Android device, with The Inquirer suggesting that it will be a Galaxy Note device with an S-Pen and running Android 4.3.
