Google+ will paint your face to celebrate your team’s run in the World Cup

Face-Paint

Football hooligans rejoice! If you’re still following the madness that is the 2014 World Cup and you’re ready to pledge your allegiance to your favorite club, Google has crafted a new way to show your support. Starting today, you can share a picture of yourself and up to four friends on Google+ and let the social network paint your faces with the flag colors of teams in the World Cup’s knockout round.

To get started, upload an eligible photo to Google+ and add the hashtag #PaintUSA or whatever country you wish to represent. After that, wait a few minutes and check back in your stream. The people in your picture should all have painted faces with your selected team’s colors. In addition to supporting your favorite soccer club, you can also use this feature as a way to play a prank on a friend who follows a rival team, as long as you’ve take picture with them at some point in time.
