After adding an April Fools’ Easter egg to Maps this morning, Google has since added another gem to its mobile version of Chrome. First noticed by the Google Operating System blog, there’s now a menu in Chrome mobile that lets you “share a reaction” from any webpage you visit.
The idea with this feature is that you’ll take a selfie showing your reaction when you visit a website and Chrome will align a screenshot of the page you’re viewing with that selfie. You’ll then be able to share that #ChromeSelfie with all of your friends (they’ll probably be former friends after you send them the picture, though).
The feature is available now in locations where it’s already April 1st and will continue to rollout as we head into April Fools’ Day everywhere.
