Some of the most nagging OnePlus One bugs supposedly fixed in Cyanogen OS update

The OnePlus One, despite its well-deserved praise and renown, has some shortcoming. Besides the fact that OnePlus has some of the most ridiculous — although effective — marketing of any tech company today, the flagship phone itself has been plagued with some pretty nagging problems . Most notably, OnePlus has some pretty sketchy Bluetooth connectivity with in-car systems, problems sending MMS on some carriers, and — most notoriously — problems with touch screen sensitivity. Now, though, it looks like these problems are finally fixed…

It goes without saying that those who use the OnePlus One on a daily basis will be more than overjoyed to hear that some of the phone’s biggest bugs have finally been squashed. OnePlus tried to fix the touch screen issues in particular not too long ago, but that build of the phone’s software had even more problems (notably battery drain). While the verdict isn’t out yet on this build of Cyanogen OS for the OnePlus One, numbered YNG1TAS2I3, it’s definitely worth giving a shot if you’ve had the below outlined issues. It’s a full ROM file coming in at 566 MB.

Here’s the full change log from Cyanogen (via Android Police):

This update provides fixes for the following items:
* Touchscreen sensitivity
* Bluetooth connectivity with several in-car systems
* MMS sending on several carriers

For the record, this build is still based on Android 5.0, not the latest 5.1.1. But while it may not be based on the latest AOSP build, it should — in theory — be an improvement over the current. Let us know what you think.
