Our previous glimpses at the rumored HTC One M10 confirmed that the device takes heavy visual cues from the One A9. However, a new leaked image reveals that the rear of device will be in line with previous HTC One phones.
A Dutch site has an image of what they report to be the upper half of the HTC Perfume’s rear side. It features the same horizontal antenna line first used in 2013’s One M7 and a center placement of what’s expected to be the same 12MP Sony camera sensor that is used in the Nexus 6P. A previous rumor from Evleaks claimed that HTC was returning to an UltraPixel camera, but from this image it appears that they won’t be going back to the M8’s dual-camera setup.
There appears to be a slight curve to this device and larger chamfered edges. At the top is a centered 3.5 mm headphone jack and next to the camera is a dual-tone flash with a cutout for autofocus. The volume rocker on bottom left of the image matches up an earlier image of the device.
The device is expected to have a Snapdragon 820 or MediaTek processor (depending on the region), 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. Like on the One A9, HTC is ditching dual front-facing speakers and might be opting for a 5.2-inch AMOLED panel instead of their previous SuperLCD 3 displays.
HTC did not announce the One M10 at MWC, but they did announce a variety of mid-range Desire devices with cool colored backs.
