Aside from having the Google Assistant built-in, having a Google Home around the house is great because it features a pretty loud and good sounding speaker. And in Google’s opinion, if you’re going to ever play music on the Home, you might as well stream everything from the company’s streaming service, Play Music.
To demonstrate how well the Home and Play Music work together, Google has announced that it is hosting a couple of block parties in LA and NYC…
To show off the different ways you can utilize the Home with Play Music, Google has built three mini houses within a tiny neighborhood. The company is bringing along Wong Fu Productions, MyCupcakeAddiction, and Us the Duo so that they can demonstrate how you can ask Google Home to play different music mixes based on your mood or current activity.
Google’s LA block party will be taking place February 11 and 12, at 1515 Abbot Kinney Blvd. Venice Beach, CA. Don’t worry about rushing down there as they will be open both days from 10 AM until 7 PM. The NYC event will take place later in the month from February 24 to 26. You can check it out at 75 9th Ave. New York, NY. It will be open from 10 AM to 9 PM on that Friday and Saturday but will close earlier at 6 PM on Sunday.
