Amidst the December 2024 Feature Drop yesterday, Google sent out another round of invites to the Pixel Superfans program in the US.
Of note was how this email — subject: “Your Exclusive Invitation to be a Pixel Superfan” — received by Pixel owners on Thursday was sent by the Google Store instead of a dedicated account. Meanwhile, many people appear to have received this invite, including recent Pixel 9 buyers.
In terms of Pixel Superfan benefits, the invite highlights:
- Access to member-only events (virtual & in-person)
- Exclusive Q&As with Pixel product and engineering teams
- Opportunities for limited-edition merchandise and surprise perks
- Membership to the private Superfans social community
In the past, people have received discounts, prints, socks, stickers, and other novelty items.
“To join the official Pixel Superfans program,” you fill out the usual, publicly available form at https://store.google.com/intl/en/ideas/pixel-superfans-survey. It’s been updated with the latest products, including the Pixel 9 series, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Buds Pro 2.
There’s a Tuesday, December 17 “enrollment window” that Google wants you to join before: “Any enrollment requests received after December 17 will be waitlisted until our next enrollment period.”
We hope to hear from you soon, and you will only receive further Pixel Superfans emails if you accept the invitation.
