Google’s integrated “Saved” feature now lets you search your web and Discover bookmarks, as well as locations placed in Google Maps lists.
On Android, the Saved tab now has a magnifying glass icon in the top bar. This search functionality is quite straightforward, with Google noting what Collections results are housed in.
In the Google app for iOS, “Saves & Collections” has been moved to the account menu when you tap your profile image in the top-right corner. Saved is also accessible from google.com/interests/saved or google.com/saved on the web.
The last big “Google Saved” update came in August when it was rebranded from “Collections.” This bookmarking feature lets you store links (saved from Search), movies and television shows (Google TV), pictures (Google Images), and places (Google Maps).
You’ll find the “Save” button in the overflow menu of Search and Image results, as well as in the top-right corner of Chrome Custom Tabs on Android after opening a page from Search or Discover.
On mobile, the experience unfortunately remains a webpage that is quite laggy. Regardless, this is quite nice for Google Maps.
