HTC’s VP of Product Management Mo Versi announced on Twitter this evening that the AT&T HTC One M7 will finally receive Android 5.0 Lollipop beginning tomorrow, March 31st. Versi, in his tweet, confirmed that HTC has received approval from both AT&T and Google for the update after delays early on.

Changes with Lollipop include a revamped notification drawer, a new card-based multitasking interface, and support for lock screen notifications. Of course, there are also many Material Design interface tweaks throughout the operating system.
HTC, when Lollipop was announced, promised to update all of its devices within 90 days of when it received the source code for the operating system. In February, however, the company confirmed that it was going to miss that self-imposed deadline, but promised to continue working diligently.
Nevertheless, HTC can now take one more device off its list. Lollipop will begin rolling out to the AT&T HTC One M7 over-the-air starting March 31st. The HTC One M8 update remains missing for now, though…
