Robinhood is easily the best app for buying and trading stocks (at pretty much no cost upfront), but it doubles as one of the best Android apps for tracking stocks as well. Now, the Robinhood experience is coming to the wrist via recently-announced (via Android Police) Android Wear support…
View your portfolio performance, scroll vertically to view your entire watchlist, and tap on any stock to view your holdings. Your account and trading notifications appear on Android Wear, enabling you to seamlessly track your portfolio and market movements in real time. The app also features our signature day and night mode to reflect market hours and market moves.
After spending quite a bit of time as an iOS exclusive, Robinhood finally made its way over to Android in August of last year. The app recently added support for Google’s Nexus Imprint, and now it’s finally hitting wear. As a Robinhood user, I’m happy.
You could long track stocks using the Google app on your wrist, but this is just a bit more than that since it ties in with the Robinhood account you already have set up (and if you don’t have one, you should). You can view your holdings, view your watchlist, and the app also pushes notifications to your wrist letting you “track your portfolio and market movements in real time.”
Excuse me, while I go find the app for free over at the Play Store.
