First Googlebooks from Lenovo leak: Two sizes and 2-in-1 tablet

Ahead of the fall launch, the first set of Googlebooks from Lenovo has leaked.

According to images from Android Headlines today, we see two traditional laptops in stark white. There’s a protrusion on the top edge that’s similar to the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14. We then see the “glowbar” in blue that Google previously teased, with the “Lenovo” logo being the only other element. Unlike “Chromebook,” there is no “Googlebook” branding on the cover, with this category of devices instead opting for branding on the left palm rest.

The image above reveals two sizes for the laptops as seen by the lack of a left/right speaker grill on the bottom device, which has a USB-C port and headphone jack on the right.

The larger Googlebook has what appears to be USB-A, USB-C, and a light-up power button on the right edge. It is harder to determine what’s on the left due to resolution, but we see an audio jack, USB-C, and what’s either another USB-A port or HDMI.

Meanwhile, there’s a 2-in-1 Lenovo Googlebook. This tablet incorporates the glowbar next to the camera in a pill-shaped housing. Each side has two sets of speaker cutouts, while a pen/stylus magnetically attaches to the top edge. The other accessory is a keyboard that has the Googlebook branding and a decent-sized touchpad. Lenovo is also making a mouse that features a light strip.

In May, Google just provided a preview of Googlebooks, with more details coming in the fall. Acer, ASUS, Dell, and HP are also set to make devices.
