The same guy that leaked the HTC One M9 in late January, Steve Hemmerstoffer of the well-known French site Nowhereelse.fr, has today come out via his new “OnLeaks” Twitter account to share what he says are some “early” renders of the LG G4—and the device pictured looks a lot like the LG G Flex 2 that was announced earlier this year at CES…
The LG G4 is one device that we haven’t heard many specifics about yet, as most leaks in the earlier part of this year surrounded either the HTC One M9 or Samsung’s Galaxy S6 (and S6 Edge). We did hear, though, in mid-February that LG had reportedly pushed back the launch date of the device due to intense competition from the aforementioned OEMs.
Earlier this month, a couple reports out of the Korean media said that the LG G4 is to be “radically different” than its predecessor, and if the above leak is to be believed, that might just be the case. According to these reports, though, the device will reportedly feature a “metal-mixtured” body and sport the company’s LG UX 4.0. Hemmerstoffer says that a full metal body “seems unlikely…”
I can’t say if #LGG4 body will be fully made of metal (seems unlikely to me…) but I can confirm it will have a removable back cover…

Beyond the G4, however, LG is also reportedly working on a device that “stands above” the G series. “Industry watchers” say that the factory price tag for this new series will likely go beyond 1,000,000 won (908 US dollars). Not many details on the phone have surfaced quite yet, but it’s expected to have much higher specs and ship in the second half of 2015.
