Just four days ago we told you that Google’s Allo had passed 1 million downloads on the Google Play Store, and now it appears — based on the app’s Play Store listing — that the messaging app has surpassed 5 million.

Google’s Allo topped out at #1 on the Play Store this past weekend, but has since fallen to #8 on the top free charts. This compares to Duo, Google’s new video calling app, which is currently #85 on the top free charts and recently passed the 10 million install mark.

We also heard 5 days ago that Google Allo has some updates on the way, including potential Duo integration. And if you use Allo, but want to make sure you get as much as you can out of the app, be sure to check our list of eight useful tips and tricks for the app.

You can download Allo for free on the Google Play Store.
