Update: Republic Wireless now has the Moto X available on their website for purchase beginning this morning, November 14th.

Republic Wireless is making good on their promise to release the Moto X to the public in November with the expected to hit shelves this week according to a Mashable report. The device will retail at $299 from the Republic Wireless store and features all the tricks we’ve come to expect from Motorola’s first true “Google” smartphone.

Republic Wireless features some of the cheapest rate plans in the wireless industry with unlimited talk, text and data on Wi-Fi only starting at $5 per month. A boost to $10 a month will offer Wi-Fi plus cellular talk and text on Sprint’s network with data on Wi-Fi only. Kick things up to $25 and you’re good for Wi-Fi plus 3G cellular Talk, text and data. Last but certainly not least is Republic’s $40 Wi-Fi plus 4G cellular talk, text and data plan also running off Sprint’s network. Pair any of these plans up with a $299 price tag on the Moto X and it’s a sick deal.

Comparatively, AT&T’s two-year plans start at $70 and Sprint starts things off at $50 a month including talk and text but not data. Unfortunately, even with the great pricing on both the device and service, the Moto X sold through Republic only works with Republic so you can’t take it with you to another carrier.

Still, at these prices and as long as Sprint works well in your area, it’s a tough deal to pass up.
