NVIDIA is now accepting pre-orders for the 32GB LTE version of its Shield gaming tablet. Priced at $400, this premium version of the chip maker’s slate is almost identical to what was released a few months ago, with the exception of its network connectivity and higher storage capacity. In terms of hardware, the Shield packs an 8-inch 1,920 x 1,200 display with a Tegra K1 processor and 2GB of RAM.

NVIDIA gaming slab is compatible with multiple LTE bands, however the company is running a promotion specifically for AT&T customers that offers a $100 bill credit when they activate the device on an eligible service plan. In addition to pre-orders for the network-friendly version of the Shield tablet, NVIDIA announced three new games optimized for its new platform: Beach Buggy Racing, BombSquad and Broadsword.

Pre-orders are now available in the US and UK, with the device set to ship on September 30th.
