Google today released a new Android app called Device Assist that offers live tech support, troubleshooting, tips and more for Nexus, Google Play edition, and Android One devices.
In addition to offering quick access to Google support, the app detects issues with a device’s setup and makes suggestions on things like GPS, connectivity, and battery settings to improve overall performance.
Google Device Assist provides tips and proactive troubleshooting to help you get the most out of your device.

The Device Assist app is currently only available to users in the US with Nexus, Google Play edition and Android One devices running Android 5.0 Lollipop. You can download it on Google Play now.
