HTC One M9 purportedly coming in both ‘Dark Gunmetal’ & ‘Gold’ color variants

The next HTC One is right around the corner, but more and more details continue to stream out as the device’s March 1st reveal date gets closer. Most recently, a system dump of the software shipping on the HTC One M9—codenamed “Hima”—leaked out, giving us an idea of what HTC’s Sense 7 software is going to look like (spoiler: not much different than Sense 6). Today, the same source of that information has come out to share the color variants of the device.

Apparently, the HTC One M9 is going to ship in 3 models with different aesthetic appearances. The first is going to be “Dark Gunmetal” on both the front and the back, the second will have a gold front and a silver back, while the last will be gold on both the front and back.

Some of the most reliable leaks we’ve seen thus far claim to show the “Hima” M9 device in two variants, one with a 5-inch display and another with a 5.5-inch display. Specific details aren’t as sure-fire, but at least one of these devices is expected to have the Snapdragon 810 SoC and 3 GB of RAM. Upleaks, the same account that posted these color variant details, also spilled some “Hima” specs in December.

We’re only about a week away now from the device being completely unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
