Hands-on with HTC One M9 appears leading up to MWC (Video)

The HTC One M9 is almost surely going to be one of the biggest stars of the Mobile World Congress this year, but it has also arguably been one of the most-leaked handsets ever. As HTC’s event approaches, the leaks have seemed to become only more and more prevalent, and that trend is continuing today as a hands-on video of the device has appeared on YouTube…

The HTC One M9 has been most heavily leaked by the @upleaks Twitter account (who’s owner is unknown), with details such as the device’s color variants, specifications, and other details leaking out over the last several months. We’ve seen images of the device from a variety of sources, including press renders from Upleaks, and some renders from Evleaks that interestingly don’t align with what we see in the video below.

Some of the specs spilled back in December include a 5-inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 13-megapixel (or a 4-megapixel “UltraPixel”) front-facing camera, support for VoLTE/CA/LTE Cat.6, and a 2,840 mAh battery. It was also revealed recently that software-wise, the next HTC One isn’t going to be much of a departure from its predecessor.

Most recently, Upleaks shared some promotional videos for the HTC One M9 showing exactly what the device will look like—and it wouldn’t be surprising to see some of these videos shown at Mobile World Congress in the coming days. The M9 is set to be revealed at a press conference in Barcelona, Spain during MWC on March 1st.
