AdWords Express for Android updated w/ Material Design makeover, other tweaks

Google today has released version 2.0 of AdWords Express for Android. For those unfamiliar with the app, AdWords Express allows users to quickly create ads via their smartphone. Google says ads can be created in less than 15 minutes, and advertisers only pay when potential customers click the ad. Today, AdWords Express has been updated with a new, Material Design interface to fall more in line with Google’s other applications for Android.

In addition to the new design, there are several other tweaks. For one, users now have the ability to remove search phrases that don’t directly apply to their business. Users can also now choose to receive important notifications about their ads via a push notification to their Android device. And as always, the update includes the standard stability improvements and bug fixes.

The update is rolling out now via Google Play, but if you don’t want to wait for the staged rollout to hit your device, the file is available on APKMirror now. The full changelog from google is available below:

  • New look and feel with material design
  • Remove search phrases that may not be the best fit for your business (and add them back if you need to)
  • Choose to receive additional important notifications about your ads
  • Several stability improvements and bug fixes
