Unsurprisingly, Lenovo “product engineer” Ashton Kutcher is also doing online videos to promote Motorola. His last appearance demonstrated how people are incapable of not touching their phones. Now, Kutcher is talking with engineers and showing off features specific to Motorola phones.
In a blog post, Kutcher claims that “the mobile phone is stuck.” Specifically, he thinks that phone innovation has stagnated over the last few years and that the only innovation is on price, comparing it to televisions. Of course, Motorola is quite known for kickstarting an era of cheap quality phones with the Moto G and Moto E. Furthermore, Lenovo is known for their line of cheap lower-end smartphones in the Asia.
Continuing on a previous advertising theme, Motorola is apparently the only company that understands that people have a deep relationship with their phones. In three videos, Kutcher is with engineers from Moto (not Motorola) labs showcasing meaningful innovations like quick charging, voice recognition, and shatterproof displays.
Over the year, we’ll see more videos like these that highlight features and explains to consumer why they want a specific phone feature that Motorola already happens to offer.
