Google’s new Android enterprise website showcases how the OS can help in the business world [Video]

Android is a popular and powerful operating system thanks at least in part to its customizability and adaptability. To demonstrate how this can help in business world, Google has built a new website and produced a video showing off how the enterprise market can take full advantage of the company’s mobile OS…

The new enterprise website — which can be found here — outlines three key areas where the enterprise can benefit from using Android: mobile first security, collective intelligence, and tailored solutions.

Security within Android is something that’s important as it not only protects devices but also their installed applications. Collective intelligence is Google’s way of saying that their different technologies such as machine learning are incorporated within the OS and their services, therefore assisting with whatever the corporation might need.

The biggest reason for businesses to use Android, though, is its ability to be tailored for almost any use case. While most consumers know Android as the operating system on handsets, the OS can be adapted to run on different types of computers and have a customized look and feel. Additionally, businesses are able to build and run their own custom applications that are capable of working perfectly for their unique operation.

In the video below, you’ll see a world that runs completely on Android. This includes a phone in someone’s pocket, the tablet used by a worker on the manufacturing line, and even a custom-built digital sign that delivers messages to patrons visiting a business.
