How to set up Edge Sense on the HTC U12+

With the U12+, HTC went all in on the phone’s pressure-sensitive sides. So to get the most out of your new phone, here’s how to set up the HTC U12+’s Edge Sense.

How to set up Edge Sense on the HTC U12+

  1. Settings
  2. Toggle on Edge Sense
  3. Customize Edge Sense

To enable the feature, you first need to hop into the Settings menu by pulling down the notification shade and tapping on the gear icon. From there, scroll down until you see the option for Edge Sense. Before you click on the item, make sure the toggle for the settings is turned on.

Next, select Edge Sense and you will be taken into a separate menu. Here, you can choose Edge Sense’s squeeze sensitivity, decide if the feature will work when the screen is off, what squeezing the frame of the phone does, and much more.
