Motorola teases new flagship phone launching on April 16

Motorola is gearing up for a new launch this month, and the company will be equipping its next flagship with speedy 125W fast charging again.

In a post on Twitter/X today, Motorola confirmed an April 16 event where it is set to launch the “Edge Family” for 2024. In the teaser, Motorola confirms that its upcoming flagship will feature 125W fast charging, the same speed as the Motorola Edge 40 Ultra offered.

The teaser shows the components of a new design which seems to include at least three camera lenses on the back.

What device is this in particular?

Most likely, it’s the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, which infamous leaker Evan Blass posted on Twitter/X earlier this month. The design matches up pretty much identically. Motorola has already launched the Motorola Edge 50 Pro in India, but the “Ultra” has yet to debut.

Also in the pipeline, it seems, are new Motorola earbuds.

We’ll find out more about what Motorola has in store next week, hopefully including some details on what the company will be bringing to the United States.
