Star Wars Battlefront gets its own official Android companion app

Thanks to the impending arrival of Star Wars: Episode VII, one of this year’s most talked-about console games is Battlefront, which is undoubtedly one of the best (if not THE best) Star Wars games of all time. And now, it has its own official mobile companion app on the Google Play Store. Base Command is the app’s key feature, and almost certainly the main draw that’ll keep players coming back. It’s essentially a strategy-based card game that earns users credits to use in the full Battlefront game. Another feature is the ‘Stats and Progression’ screen which shows a breakdown of your Battlefront career, allowing you to dig deep in to your full stats. There’s also a connected feature that shows all your current Origin friends in real time and notifies you when they start playing Battlefront. You’ll get in-app and push notifications for important Battlefront news and can view your collection of Star Cards and Blasters.
