Lenovo bringing Snapdragon X Elite to Yoga and ThinkPad laptops in June from $1,199

The first wave of Snapdragon X laptops has arrived and, with it, two new options from Lenovo powered by Snapdragon X Elite and starting at $1,199.

For its first Snapdragon X laptops, Lenovo is hitting two of its biggest lines – Yoga and ThinkPad.

The consumer model here, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, is a 14.5-inch laptop starting at $1,199. The machine is powered by Snapdragon X Elite and supports up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage depending on the specific configuration. Its display is an OLED panel with up to 1,000 nits of brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x lives up to its name, too, at merely 12.9mm thick. That’s just barely thicker than an M3 MacBook Air which is around 11mm thick.

The machine also has three USB-C ports in total, all of which support display output, data, and charging.

On the other hand, the ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 packs a 14-inch display (either IPS or OLED) with a thicker design. The laptop has two full-size USB ports, two USB-C ports, a headphone jack, and an HDMI port too. Its Snapdragon X Elite is paired with up to 64GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, as mentioned, starts at $1,199 and will be available solely in “Cosmic Blue.”

ThinkPad T14s Gen 6, meanwhile, will start at $1,699 in “Eclipse Black.”

Both laptops launch in June from Lenovo’s website and retailers, and Lenovo notes that they’ll ship in plastic-free packaging.
