Google Calendar “appointment slots” have long allowed education and enterprise users to create and reserve specified time slots. Google is now removing that capability and replacing it with “appointment schedules.”

Google Drive is rolling out a pair of updates, including improved video playback and more search filters on mobile. 

Google brought the first set of Gemini Workspace features out of preview for personal accounts earlier this week. “Help me create a list” is now being tested in Google Keep.

As teased earlier this month, the Gemini rebrand is now coming to Duet AI in Gmail, Drive, Docs, and other Google Workspace apps.

The new Google One AI Premium plan now provides access to Gemini features in Gmail, Docs, and other Workspace apps for personal accounts. Google says the integration lets you “get more done without jumping between tabs or apps.”

Duet AI launched earlier this year for Workspace customers at $30 per user/month, and its latest capability is Enhanced Smart Fill for Google Sheets. 

Instead of using third-party tools, Google Slides is rolling out the ability to record yourself presenting with link-based Drive sharing once you’re done.
