Last year Google announced live cases — a customizable case that you can create pretty much however you’d like with photos, designs, and even maps. These were originally available only for the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P, but as we saw a couple of weeks ago, Google is also bringing these to the new Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones.
Google is adding to its collection of customizable accessories with limited-edition Live Cases made by American artist Jeff Koons. At $40 a piece, they come with an exclusive collection of live wallpaper and will only be available through the end of June or while supplies last.
Almost two years ago, evidence of a custom Moto Maker-like service for creating custom cases for Nexus phones surfaced supposedly called “Google Workshop”.
