From the Mobilize conference:
T-Mobile’s network is 75% smartphones and 90% of those are Android. That means more than 2/3rds of the devices sold by T-Mobile are Android. That is a big number. Remember T-Mobile has a million iPhones on its network but those weren’t sold by T-Mobile.
Is it game over for everyone else?

Its a two horse race, and currently Android is a much better, bigger, faster horse than the iPhone. Apple really need to step up on the hardware and even more on the software. If the iPhone 5 doesn't have NFC, it will be the start of the downhill tumble.
What is "Is it game over for everyone else?" supposed to imply?
The Android Army cometh! Join up or be concurred! The choice is yours…
Reading both Apple and Android fanboy sites make me laugh…
90% of the Smartphones are Android ok, fair enough. It would be interesting to see what percentage were:
- – Higher Tier Models in the same bracket of the iPhone
- – Lower Tier Models that T-Mobile give you for free because they can't shift the darn things !
The fact of the matter is which ever Fanboy you are, Apple own the other manufacturers with the profits they make from sales of the iPhone. It's not a business for volume, it's a business for PROFIT and Apple win that battle hands down !
This is T-Mobile… crappiest provider out there… I wouldn't be so proud to "boast" those numbers.
