After launching the impressive OnHub last year, Google has today unveiled another home wireless router dubbed Google WiFi. This new option is less of a replacement for the OnHub, but an answer to a different use case.

Similar in size to the Amazon Echo Dot, Google WiFi makes larger networks with multiple access points easy to create, similar to Eero.

Google WiFi can create a “mesh network” throughout your home, working together to create a strong network throughout the home. You can also control the router from your smartphone, “pausing access” for certain users. Google claims that a single Google WiFi router is stronger than most consumer-grade routers, but we’ll have to wait and see if that’s true.

Pricing for Google WiFi lands at $129 a piece, or $299 for a 3-pack. Pre-orders kick off in November. You can join the waitlist now on the Google Store.
