Get a free Chromecast or Chromecast Audio w/ purchase of a Google Home

googlehome_chromecast_1

One of the best things about Google’s hardware ecosystem is that everything plays together quite nicely. This is especially true between Google Home and Google’s Chromecast ecosystem, and Google is making it more compelling than ever to take advantage of that with a new promo…

From now until March 18th, Google is offering a $35 discount when you buy a Google Home and Chromecast or Chromecast Audio together via the Google Store. Once the two are added to your cart, the automatically applied discount effectively makes your Chromecast free with the total coming out to $129 — the current retail price of Google Home.

Obviously, this is a no-brainer if you’ve been waiting to pick up a Google Home. With the addition of a Chromecast or Chromecast Audio, you can not only push video or music from your phone to the big screen (or speakers), but you can do the same from Google Home. With connected services such as Google Play Music, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, Google Photos, and Netflix, it’s easier than ever to get content going with nothing more than your voice.

The promo runs from February 26th to March 18th, but keep in mind it only applies to the standard Chromecast and Chromecast Audio; not the Chromecast Ultra.
