It’s been a minute since the Pixel Watch 3 launched, but there still isn’t a wealth of accessories to choose from. We’ve spent time testing and trialing some of the small pool – and here are some of our favorites.

Because of the divergence in the Pixel Watch 3 lineup this year, the quality of accessories available for the 45mm version is lacking. You can’t reuse or repurpose 41mm watch straps to the newer, larger connector. This means that, sadly, if you have a 45mm Pixel Watch 3, you have a very limited number of high-quality accessories to choose from.
Since launch, only a few brands have decided to support the Pixel Watch, hence the heavy focus on a limited number of accessory makers. Some lesser-known accessory makers may have great products – here are some that we think are worth the price.
Spigen Watch Lite Fit band
If you have a 41mm Pixel Watch 3, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to cheap alternatives to the Google official watch bands. The 45mm is another story. Getting a reliable or even moderate-quality strap is almost impossible at this early stage of the Pixel Watch 3 lifecycle.
Spigen has one of the few that is worth picking up if you like a “loop” style band. This stretchy band is only available for the larger Pixel Watch 3 in black, but you can get it in Khaki for the 41mm. It’s super comfy and breathable. The connection is secure, which is something that cheaper non-name straps seem to have problems with. It’s no surprise given that Spigen has Made for Google certification.
This type of band is great for fitness as it doesn’t rub or irritate. You can wear it in the pool or at the beach too, and it dries super quick if it starts to get a bit gross.
Spigen Rugged Armor Pro
Recreating the classic G-Shock look with a modern smartwatch is something that millennials will love with the Spigen Rugged Armor Pro for the Pixel Watch 3. This is a bulky, blocky, but ultimately excellent all-in-one strap and case that (literally) gives your smartwatch the edge over some of the slim, minimalist designs you’ll expect to see.
It’s made from as firm but flexible TPU with raised edges, buttons covers, and the classic “Shock Resist” etched font on the front. You might not care for throwback designs, but this is a great way to almost hide your Pixel Watch in plain sight and recreate the old school digital watch look and feel.

Caseology Nano Pop
The Caseology Nanopop is a great choice for Pixel Watch users seeking all-around protection. This silicone case offers a snug fit, a raised bezel, and easy button access, though the crown might require a bit more effort.
Its sporty design features a neon blue accent that seems to be an almost iconic choice that adds a touch of personality. Available for both 41mm and 45mm models, the Nanopop is a reliable option at a reasonable price.

BlackPro nylon band
For something a little cheaper, you’ll need a 41mm Pixel Watch. There is a wealth of choice out there and we think that BlackPro’s nylon bands offer a comfortable, breathable, and affordable alternative to the Pixel Watch’s default strap.
Made from soft nylon, these bands feature Velcro connectors for easy adjustment and come in two-packs for versatility. They’ve proven durable and are a great option for those seeking a simple, budget-friendly upgrade.
Spigen charger dock
The Pixel Watch has many cheap charging docks, but the Spigen S355 stand is one of the few high-quality charging systems available. One of the only frustrating aspects is that you need to provide your own charging cable. So, we recommend picking up a spare if you need to charge somewhere else or while traveling.
It has a sturdy rubberized base with a channel so the charging cable can be neatly placed inside and flat on a desk or surface. The charging “puck” clips into place so that it doesn’t shift or slide around. Unlike some other cheaper charging stands, your Pixel Watch 3 can sit face up so that you can read or use it without taking off the watch strap – which is one of the biggest benefits of this design.
Moko Pixel Watch charger cable
Having a spare charger cable is always handy. You can pick up an official cable for around $30, or you can get something cheaper and save yourself some money. In our testing, a lesser-known “Moko” cable is more than good enough for topping up your Pixel Watch 3 when you need some extra juice. Depending on your region, the cables could be from another brand.
Sure, they don’t feel quite as high-end as Google’s first-party charger cable, but a two-pack costs under $10, and you can even get USB-A cables if that is more useful than a USB-C cable. Each cable supports fast charging, too, so your watch will be topped up at the right speeds. Plus, you can even pick up a black cable if you want.
Luckily, the charging cable for Pixel Watch 2 fits the 41mm and 45mm Pixel Watch 3 – so no compatibility concerns there.
Ringke screen protector
While Google’s decision to stick with a dome design on the Pixel Watch again is commendable, it means there is a lot of screen and glass exposed to the elements plus daily use and abuse. You don’t need to tell me about keeping the Pixel Watch 3 screen protected. I have managed to nick the edge of a jacket zipper.
If you hate getting those little microscratches and abrasions that are part and parcel of daily wear and tear then a decent screen protector is essential. Again, there aren’t many solid options in this regard. However, Ringke has a TPU accessory for the Pixel Watch 3 that covers the screen and a considerable position of the curved edges.

Ringke Slim case
In tandem with a decent screen protector, you might want to keep the exposed sides away from harm with a bezel case or frame. Spigen and sister brand Caseology make some solid options, but Ringke is out here with the best slim clip-on cases for the Pixel Watch 3 this year.
Essentially just a piece of plastic that acts as a bumper, the Ringke Slim case comes in a two-pack as standard. You get a clear anti-yellowing option and if you have the 41mm variant some other colors. The 45mm only has a matte black alternative. The cutouts are super precise, so you don’t lose functionality when adding protection.
The clip-on nature means you can remove it quickly to clean your watch, but the connection is secure when fitted. If you do get screen protection, these cases will play nicely, too.
Google Official Active Sports Band
Google’s Active Sport Band is an expensive alternative strap for Pixel Watch owners. Its perforated design enhances ventilation, making it ideal for workouts and hot weather and it is vastly superior to the stock band that you’ll get with your new – or existing – wearable.
The biggest stumbling block is the asking price. At $50, this isn’t a cheap accessory. Despite its high price, the band’s durability is one of the key selling points. Its sleek design makes it a worthwhile investment, especially for those with the 45mm model as there just aren’t many decent sport band accessories for the larger Pixel Watch 3.
